We’re excited to be returning to the Banff Mountain Film Festival, with the world premiere of our newest project: the short film The Long Today. A deeply personal project by the science and nature filmmaker Niobe Thompson, this is an honest and revealing journey down the river of time with a father and son. But it’s also a gruelling canoe trip on a notorious northern river in an antique wood canoe, and a seventieth birthday.
The festival at Banff is running online this year, and The Long Today will screen as part of the World Journeys Program, from 2 – 7 November. https://www.banffcentre.ca/events/mixed-film-program-world-journeys.
